When Our Heart Breaks Open to Ecological Loss - Grief Ritual
The despair that is for the destruction of our other-than-human kin in these times is inescapable. This is a grief that doesn't go away, however it is vital to have ongoing places to release and express this despair if we are to remain open and responsive to meeting the needs of our times. Ritual within community is one way to provide a transformative container to meet our heartbreak and allow its expression and release; to allow the reservoir to flow. I welcome you to gather with others in a community ritual to pay homage to that which has been lost, is disappearing, and that which may feel too difficult to name. Our time consists of Council practice, personal reflection, writing exercises, small group sharing, singing, and a collective grief ceremony around the community altar. 3.5hrs to multi-day.

Rituals of Belonging - An Immersion into Praise and Connection
Belonging. One word, 9 letters, and yet a portal to immense feelings of longing and loss for many of us. It is both personal and collective. This longing may be rooted in personal experiences, ancestral memories, and/or within the broader symptoms of Western modernity - a collective wounding that weaves throughout our lives in ways that can both be named, and in ways that reach beyond our words and knowing. It can be difficult to name those things we came into the world anticipating, and yet never receiving. All we know is something is missing. We will explore ancestral connection, soul movements, and respectful animist relationships with the more-than-humans and place, Council practice, ceremonial dialogue, and offering practice as pathways to nurture belonging in our own lives, and in our broader communities. 1 -2 days
